We are looking for a Business Analyst to help grow and support Contra’s core leadership team. You will work closely with the executive team to help shape company strategy, refine our financial planning and lead scenario planning across multiple aspects of the business.
How you’ll add value at Contra:
- Establish, monitor, and analyze business KPIs
- Derive insights from product data to help influence business strategy
- Summarize KPIs for internal and external communication
- Lead headcount planning and budgeting
- Own the financial model (P&L, business metrics)
- Conduct competitive analysis and product research
- Establish and improve overall business processes
You’ll be successful here if you:
- Previous experience in Business Operations
- Familiarity with relevant business models (subscriptions, marketplace, SaaS)
- Data-driven and sharp “on the spot” problem solving
- Experience with financial forecasting models
- Ability to write SQL and have experience with BI tools like Looker / Mixpanel
- Experience with databases and project management software
- Growth mindset and self-starter
- Clear verbal, written communicator
- Empathy for Product, Engineering teams (has product-led mindset)
