Pop and Bottle is looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Marketing to join our team. This is a dynamic role in a fast-growing start-up where you will have the ability to grow and make a significant impact!
The Director of Marketing will be the functional head of marketing, leading the marketing team to drive strategy, execution, and optimization of Pop & Bottle's organic and paid marketing across all marketing channels. This multifaceted individual will work effectively across both internal and external teams with the goal of driving brand awareness, and growth as we expand distribution both in-store and online. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for building and managing a small team of internal marketing team members and external freelance partners. This role reports to the CEO.
Our ideal candidate is someone with strong analytical skills, a holistic understanding of the brand, a relentless dedication towards customer experience, and a passion for community building. This is a remote position.
The Director of Marketing will direct strategy and execution across the following marketing channels:
Digital Channels: web, email, SMS
Organic Social: Instagram, TikTok, and all content marketing
Partnerships: Product collaborations, influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing
In-Store Shopper Marketing: Including platforms such as Instacart, digital sampling campaigns, and retailer marketing
Paid: Facebook, Google, and others (overseeing external digital agencies who manage the day-to-day ad execution)
Ecommerce: Shopify & Amazon (overseeing external digital agencies to execute growth on these platforms)
This role will work collaboratively across all key parts of the business by:
Collaborating with sales and customer teams to finesse brand messaging and amplify key brand messages
Working with the product development team to launch new products across marketing channels
Working cross functionally to enhance customer experience and build customer community
Tracking and reporting performance and plans to the wider company and key stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
At least 8 years of marketing experience, with demonstrated success in omnichannel consumer marketing
Experience across a multitude of digital channels and a proven success with organic content marketing
Ability to build, grow, and nurture a loyal customer community
Ability to strike a balance between the quantitative and qualitative priorities of the marketing function (someone with a strong right brain and left brain!)
Understanding of full funnel marketing, acquisition/retention principals and their measurement
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data driven decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thrives in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment - be self-directed/self-motivated
Team player with a demonstrated ability in managing and mentoring teams
Empathy, kindness, and a curiosity for learning are a must!
