NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our client's team. This is a remote, permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
• Write functional specifications
• Lead development of common standards and tools
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders
• Define and document requirements
• Lead development of common standards and tools
• Analyze and prioritize requirements
• Manage system requirements between the business and the software development team throughout the duration of a project
• Assists in operational rollout and support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years gathering business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
• Experience with Agile methodology, writing user stories, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc.
• A team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
• Experience defining and documenting requirements
• Analyze and prioritize requirements
• Ability to take strategic direction from executive management
• Experience writing functional specifications
• Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
• Excellent communication skill
