What you’ll do
The ideal candidate has actively developed software for Linux projects, has integrated that software into Linux distributions and is familiar with common open source development methodologies (ie. pull requests, peer reviews, and developing in public repositories with other community members).
In your role as Software Engineer, you will work within a team of specialists to deliver solutions that span across products in the SUSE portfolio. You will interface with Project Managers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, technology architects, and other experts across department boundaries. You’ll be point of contact for other engineers seeking expertise in resolving customer reported issues, and respond to bug reports for code and config you’re responsible for.
